Elena Savoia
is Vice-Director at the Harvard Preparedness Center, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Boston, holds key positions in the Emergency Preparedness, Research, Evaluation & Practice Program (EPREP) as well as the Community Safety Branch. She is a physician specialising in preventive medicine, public health and quantitative methods, with expertise in public health emergency preparedness. Additionally, Dr. Savoia is an international expert in community safety and evaluation methods, applied particularly in assessing the effectiveness of safety activities, including counter-terrorism programs.
Ghayda Hassan
is Director of the Canada Practitioners Network for the Prevention of Radicalization and Extremist Violence (CPN-PREV). She is a clinical psychologist and professor of clinical psychology at UQÀM. She has a number of research, clinical, and community-based national and international affiliations. She also is a UNESCO co-chair on Prevention of Violence Radicalization, as well as a researcher and clinical consultant at the SHERPA-RAPS team and the CIUSSS-CODIM.
Henry Tuck
is the head of Policy and Programmes at Institute for Strategic Dialogue ISD - an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to safeguarding human rights and reversing the rising tide of polarisation, extremism and disinformation worldwide. He leads ISD’s policy focused work to counter online harms in collaboration with a range of key stakeholders, advising leading governments, international organisations and significant private sector tech companies.
William Knopp
is the Regional Prevent Coordinator and Regional Liaison Officer for Nominal Management at Counter Terrorism Policing in Nottingham, East Midlands, UK. He is highly experienced in active interventions to prevent terrorism through engagement and education.
