Laurence Brooks
is Professor of Information Systems at the University of Sheffield, where he holds the position of Professor in the iSchool. With a wealth of experience, he previously served as the Professor of Technology and Social Responsibility at De Montfort University (DMU) and played key roles in research projects, including TechEthos and SHERPA projects. Additionally, he has made significant contributions as the Program Leader for the MSc Information Systems Management. Mr. Brooks also held important positions at Brunel University London, where he directed postgraduate studies and chaired the School Research Ethics Committee.
Malcolm Fisk
is Professor of Ageing and the Lifecourse at the University of Central Lancashire. He has an extensive track record in research, publishing and speaking on ageing, technologies, housing and community issues; and is widely published and a regular speaker at UK and international events. A consistent focus is on health, well-being and associated social and economic issues. Since 2010 he has led two European research consortia; and, over several decades, he has held expert positions for Welsh Government, the World Health Organization, ANEC and NICE. He is a Fellow and long-standing member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
